Happy Birthday Taurus 2026

Dealing with unrecognizable urges is at the top of the list for you now. Having mostly been very down to earth and practical, these urges seem to be coming out of the blue from almost nowhere. There have been urges to be contentious. There have been urges for everyone else to simply go away.  There have been flashes of sporadic anger and there have been urges to just break away from what you’ve been involved with. For someone who has been dependably consistent in everything you’ve done, these urges to free yourself are proving to be very troublesome. The universe appears to be shaking you up in order to let go of some habits and areas of life that no longer produce results or benefits.

You may also find that your actions cannot be as consistent as usual. There are a lot of starts and stops between you and your goals. Although all of this intermittency may seem irrational, you must simply let the world do what it needs to even if it interferes with what you are doing at the time. Part of these interruptions are geared toward making you to simply stop and observe what is occurring around you. Usually, you just put your head down and plough through what is in your way. After April 27^th you will no longer be able to use that tact. There will come way too many important variables that you must consider in your path toward your objectives. There may also be many more hands involved in what you are doing than you care to deal with. You must choose your space not assert it. People will not respond well if they feel that you are bullying them into being and doing what you want. You must let others apply themselves to the path that they have chosen even if you can see that it will lead them off a cliff.

On a more productive side, it’s time that you more discriminating in assessing your resources, abilities and the way you perceive yourself being in the world. Things have changed for you and your group presence is becoming a lot more prominent. What you do seems to have more of an effect on your family and the people in your circle of friends than it has in the past. You will find that you must be much more accountable for what you do or don’t offer the world. The world around is growing more erratic in their expectations of you. This is not that you must acquiesce to them but that you must simply become more aware of what is needed, what you can offer and what you choose to offer. Your independence is losing some of the private boundaries that you’ve been operating with. You’re becoming a lot more involved with and visible to the world. You must begin to let go of control. There’s no turning back now.

May 2026 Astrolights

The 1^st starts the month with a new Moon in Scorpio. This lets us know what is being let go of by the fixed signs (Taurus, Leo, Scorpio & Aquarius) after Uranus’ exit from Taurus on April 27^th. The presence of Uranus in a fixed sign has literally held back some of the chaos that is typical of Uranus. Now, with his move into Gemini, things will totally become crazy and unpredictable. We must lean more heavily into the areas of our chart where Aries holds sway bringing our accountability and independent action to the forefront. It’s more than enough to deal with the exposure of all the secrets that the world has been hiding. But now, we can no longer rely on the “experts” who have told us what to think, what to feel and what to believe for the last seven years. They’ve been hiding behind an illusion of authority and Saturn’s and Neptune’s pulling back the curtain has exposed the wizard. Feeling that we are on our own will become a very familiar feeling for the next seven years to come. We must rise to the challenge.

There will be some relief, however. Pluto will turn retrograde in Aquarius on the 6^th. This will produce some drag on the speed that changes have been gaining since October. The Moon’s moving in its third quarter in Aquarius on the 8^th will enable us some space for reorienting ourselves to what has already occurred. It is interesting to note that Iran appears to have her ruling Sun sign as Aquarius and Aries as her ascendant both of which have seen some intense action. With Uranus being one of the rulers of Aquarius and having moved from Taurus into Gemini says a lot about what we’ve been witnessing lately.

With Jupiter still in Cancer and getting squared by Neptune, Saturn, Mars, Mercury and Chyron in Aries, we and our families have been facing what seems to be overwhelming odds challenging our homes, culture and traditions. It’s demanding that we stand up for ourselves and strengthen our beliefs in our religion, culture and our way of life in spite of “the warmth of collectivism” permeating the airwaves. Hopefully, Saturn and Neptune in Aries will prove to bring the end of us allowing the welfare program to be our dominant motivation for living. Innovation, freedom, merit, and entrepreneurship have always been the dominating forces in play since the founding of our country. We must keep them in place if we are to prevent our country from becoming a nation of sheep.
