Comparing yourself with others will be a challenge for you not to do. This will be very difficult since others will be overtly competing with you. You will be pulled into “debates” with others who will verbalize their specialness over you and others. Do not get drawn in. They will be baiting you to feel that you must justify or explain yourself. Then they then will chip away at your reasoning. Don’t. Giving in will only diminish your public image and self-worth. Silence will work best. Understand, that their need to debate comes from a feeling that their personal and social worth feels in jeopardy if they don’t. In this perspective, they may also may feel threatened by you.   

The balance between sharing and independence is on the skillet. Your sense of security will be a major player. The more secure you feel, the more accountable and independent you can be. The more insecure you are, the more you will tend to seek assurances which will put you into a position of being manipulable.

Your creativity may be going through a shift. It’s not so much that you are becoming more so but rather that the environment and the landscape around you have changed and what you have to offer may now become much more in demand. Listen carefully to the responses you are receiving. This will tell you what is needed and how to fashion it so it is recognized to be a benefit.

Since June 2025 and continuing until the middle of 2028, Libra’s most pressing focus is on how much independence to allow for in yourself and to others in your relationships. One of Libra’s most important lessons is about the balance between sharing and permitting the self-maintenance of your own life energy.

In our current culture our social emphasis has arrived at where everyone including you, Libra, is trapped in a coerced and expected personal sacrifice for the benefit of others. This has made the battle for you to acquire balance much more difficult by forcing you to lean more into keeping your own gas tank at the least half full in the face of many others using the victim mentality as a tool for inducing guilt. This has fed right into Libra’s own people pleasing problem. Libra, you must become much more aggressive and adamant about retaining your own healthy level of energy in spite of any accusations of selfishness leveled at you by people who seek to take advantage of you. This will be the most demanding where your family is concerned. You must learn to say no when your health and well-being are involved…even to your family.

Lastly, you may have spontaneous opportunities to travel. Look very carefully at the advantages and disadvantages. Even though getting away may decrease the pressure, in the long run, it may not be as promising as you might think…

October 2026 Astrolights

Independence and all the issues surrounding it are at the top of the list needing our attention. With Saturn and Neptune still retrograde in Aries and opposing the Sun in Libra, all the needs for taking initiative to keep our autonomy and integrity intact are our primary concern. This means that our accountability and how we address it will determine everything that is yet to come. Our best asset is to be able to take pre-emptive action asserting our position before others put obstacles in our way that will benefit only them. Competition is now at a fierce high in our social landscape. We must recognize and accept that God helps those who help themselves.

On the 10^th the Moon becomes new in Libra and Pluto turns direct in Aquarius on the 16^th. We must put our heads together with our loved ones and come to a common understanding of how we will approach and address our relationship with the general public in order to resurrect many of the traditional and interpersonal perspectives that we have lost during the intentional and chaotic destruction of our country’s history and its foundations. Our best symbol representing this is the Phoenix.

On the 24^th, Mercury turns retrograde in Scorpio and remains that way until November 13^th. We know that this is a time when no new endeavors should be put into motion due to the lack of clarity or foresight. What we also know is that Mercury retrograde and the pausing of its forward movement gives us an opportunity to review all that has come before and decide what must be readjusted and what can remain the same. In Scorpio, we must look to the roots of what we assess in order to know where to adjust things at their most effective and rudimentary levels.

On the 26^th, the Moon becomes full in Taurus. This will give us our best vantage point to see how our prospective changes will line up with how our values demand that we see ourselves. When we get to the last phase of the year, beginning on Halloween, we want to have a clear understanding of what patterns and circumstances must exit for us to greet the new year at the Winter Solstice in December without any barriers to our new growth and maturity.
