At The worldly status of your resources and abilities is now coming under scrutiny. This is especially in terms of your career and what you may or may not have accomplished thus far. You will need to step more outside of your own perception and how you see yourself. How you think you may be coming across may not be as obvious as you think. Besides you, who is benefiting from what you’ve done so far? Although you should now be investing in your education and ability, you should also be questioning where these are going to be applied and why.
Your significant other, if you have one, is now questioning the support that is being shared between you and how each of you is being affected. This is not a time for battling about possessions or personally perceived obligations toward each other but what the end result consists of. Are you sharing your goals? Do each of you actually know what the other needs?
At this point you may view empathy and compassion as liabilities but please realize that they are only present to let you understand how you are affecting those around you. It’s not to coerce you into pandering to others but to give you depth in knowing where and how to put any efforts you may direct toward others and why. Concentrating on yourself is fine but you need to have a comprehension of your influence on the rest of the world to make sure you are in touch with your real responsibilities, not just the whims and the selfish demands of others.
There is no doubt that there have been some huge changes that have occurred to you and for you over the last three years. As the planets continually move, you are only now getting a bird’s eye view of your effectiveness, or not, in the world. It’s important that you assess these changes carefully. Whether it’s Covid, career, relationships or health, these should all be taken into account in the large picture to see and understand the direction your life is and has been taking. Patience, observation and calmness are required. If you can do these things, your compass for the future will be in your hand.
May 2023 Astrolights
The 1st brings our first shift to bear. Pluto turns retrograde in Aquarius. As Jupiter is moving direct into Taurus on the 16th, an applying square will create a squeeze play between them culminating on the 18th. Adding to this pressure will be a Lunar eclipse occurring on the 5th in Scorpio. The open end of this T-square is Leo ruling pride and entitlement. Slowly the balance will shift as this open end of this T-square becomes filled by Mars moving into Leo replacing its open end with Scorpio after the effects of the eclipse have started diminishing. Soon tempers will explode over power and possessions. Our worldly events will shift dramatically from these influences. On the home front, families will face tremendous changing pressure. This will be a time for all of us to pull back from the world and regroup our strategies. We must be careful not to overreact emotionally to what will be going on around us. Clear thinking and tempered action will be a must.
As the Sun moves into Gemini on the 21st, we must do our best not to get caught up in the many arguments that will surface. The fixed sign fiasco will cause the blame game to manifest strongly. Calm spirits and clear and accountable conversation will be essential. If we can take this tremendous energy and channel it into creative endeavors, it will be a blessing. If we cannot, we will feel like Sisyphus pushing the boulder up the mountain.
The past solar eclipse in Aries on April 20th has shown us that independent action and thinking are of the utmost importance. If we can focus clearly on our values and what we can all do apart from depending on others to “handle” the crises we face, we will be much better for it. This will be a rough May for us to traverse.all…
