You may be a bit of a chatterbox now. Listen to your own words. They’re telling you what you most need to pay attention to. Strive for the higher values of what you are dealing with and don’t expect others to just acquiesce to what you want or feel that they should be and do. They have their own mind and their own way of being. First, learn to observe.
Things in the home environment are finally on the move. In the same way you must let others do what they feel they need to do, you must also allow others to perceive you the way they choose. This is the most true in your home and its traditions. You must simply follow your heart and understand what it is telling you is most appropriate for you to do. Don’t try to convince others to follow your advice. It will be seen as an imposition on their autonomy.
Right now, you have a clear idea of what you want in a relationship and from your career. But you must also be aware of others’ need for independent action. You must balance the two. This is not often an easy job as it involves careful insight.
You may feel that others “inspire” you to act impulsively. Stop and listen to what your feelings are urging you to do. These are things that you must pay attention to. They are the issues inside you that hold you back from feeling like you’re losing ground or control.
There may be some situations now involving mothers, mothering and following traditions that may seem to be unclear now. Hold tight and allow them to play out so you will understand fully what you need to do or stop doing.
December 2023 Astrolights
We begin the month with Neptune going direct in Pisces on the 6th. We all know the effect that Neptune and Pisces have on our reality. It accentuates our confusion with our perception of how we define ourselves to ourselves and our place in the tangible world that we live in. We can see this in the lack of “trustable” truth that we are able to perceive in the world around us. Our traditions, our expectations and even our perceptions have become blurred, and we find ourselves questioning everything and everyone that we encounter. This has had the effect of forcing us inward and even questioning if what we see, feel and hear are even real.
The important part of the change in Neptune’s direction is the effect that it is having on its worldly ruler, Jupiter. His position in Taurus now challenges our self-worth, our resources and how we appraise our ability to even have an effect on our tangible world. Our last few years of social unrest have deeply shaken the foundations of what we use to define who we are and why we are here. Needless to say, Neptune has tremendously undermined our sense of personal and worldly securities. Its forward movement is now forcing us to address our preferred securities from a point of practical accountability through their expanded (Jupiter) application in the tangible world (Taurus). This is how the spirituality of Neptune works. It dissolves our illusions of security so we must face and eliminate the lies we tell ourselves about our worth and our place in the world.
The Sagittarius new Moon on the 12th will bring our attention to the application and meaning of what values we hold near and dear and if their applications are sufficient for our growth and maturity. Mercury’s retrograde in Capricorn on the 13th will show what sacrifices we will need to make in order to get back on our spiritual path. The Sun’s ingress into Capricorn on the 22nd will signify the commencement of our rebirth and the full Moon in Cancer on the 27th will clarify the insecurities we will be abandoning. Finally, Jupiter will turn direct in Taurus on the 31st signifying the resumption of our spiritual journey.
